The circular economy model is not just a choice, but a daily duty.
The recycling attitude
Our industrial process minimises the consumption of raw materials and energy. Following this strategy we identified system innovations, raising our commitment with sustainable infrastructure, capable of reducing CO2 emissions and water consumption.
All the water we use is recycled thanks to a closed-loop and low-impact purification system.
Unfired and fired semi-finished products that are scrapped because they do not meet quality standards, including residual sludge and powders, are returned to the production process. This allows a clear reduction in the environmental impact in terms of raw materials extracted, transported and processed.
Iron, wood, plastic, paper, cardboard: every waste produced by the industrial process and by the offices is sorted, then sent to the correct recycling and reuse procedure.
Every choice counts
In the near future, we will take new steps in the direction of fully sustainable business management, investing in infrastructures for energy self-generation. We plan to build a large photovoltaic plant, which will significantly contribute to our energy requirements.
A cogeneration system supplies 70% of the daily energy needs. All the heat produced by the cogenerator is recovered and fed back into the production cycle.
Energy-efficient processes and continuous investments have enabled us to reduce processing waste and to improve procedures to reduce harmful emissions from the systems.
Caesar porcelain stoneware is an environmentally friendly material, suitable for the concept of circular economy.
Porcelain floors and walls are produced from raw materials of natural origin subjected to mechanical and thermal treatments. They contain no plastic or harmful substances and can be recycled at the end of their long life cycle.
